A fantastic date idea! This experience was 10/10! It was a great way to see Santa Monica Bay and an amazing sunset! The other couple that was supposed to come did not show up so the captain was kind enough to let me and my boyfriend have a solo cruise. So much fun!

A fantastic date idea! I booked this cruise for my first wedding anniversary. The boat was magnificent and captain Lucas was a pleasure. The tray of assorted meat and cheese was a nice compliment to a beautiful trip around the harbor.

A fantastic date idea! Marina del Rey relaxing Kayak tour The tour was fun, relaxing and the harbor area was beautiful. Our tour guide Walker was very informative and made the experience enjoyable.

A fantastic date idea! Great experience Alexy was an absolute delight to get to paddle board with for a few hours. He is kind and filled with joy. We got to see a few sea lions and had a relaxing time on the water. I’d go again for sure.

Worth it! I was a little suspicious about this… didn’t think we’d actually see sea lions. I was wrong! Totally awesome experience, saw a number of sea lions and loved the whole experience. Our guide was great!

Worth it! Wow! Excellent Day Trip to Malibu Title says it all! Stephen and Justin were outstanding hosts to my girlfriend and me. It was truly the highlight to our trip to Santa Monica. We started at the Santa Monica pier where they picked us up in their vintage VW bus. The bus was in great shape and super cool to take pictures with. Then, we hopped on board for our wine stop at a local wine tasting room. This room was right on the water, newly renovated, and featured a great wine flight selection. Stephen also offered cheese, crackers, and meat as a tasty supplement. Don’t forget to try the wine Italian ice! It was surprisingly delicious. Next, after wine tasting was over, they took us on an awesome coastline drive (the PCH) to Malibu. We drove past Pepperdine University, through Malibu hills, and up to a secret surf spot at Point Dume. All I can say is WOW. What a view. I certainly can’t find this in New York. After some more picture opportunities, we headed back to our drop off point. Overall, the best $ value I have spent on an experience. This experience may be still working out some logistical kinks, but Justin and Stephen’s love for the area and hosting ability were truly top notch. HIGHLY recommend, don’t miss out!

Worth it! This experience was incredible! Amazing tour guide on the cutest boat, decorated perfect with pillows and blankets. Perfect for a group or a romantic date. We went at 4:00 and watched the sunset while enjoying champagne and red wine. The charcuterie was great as well. The meet was easy and the directions they gave us was perfect. Amazing for showing friends and family the Marina. Best ride we have been on! We will definitely be going again.

This was very romantic and fun. The Marina is big so we just made few stops out in open water. And got some good shots of the sunset. As an extra bonus there were a boat parade and fireworks this evening. Our driver Mike was amazing, and the other guests were so great to hang out with. We are really happy with our tour

Our tour guide Mike was fantastic. Helped make the tour very enjoyable and took us to a few places in the Marina where we got to see Sea Lions. If you have the chance, I would highly recommend this experience!

Very small and intimate. Did realize the boat seated 6 or 7 comfortably. I had the best overall experience. Met wonderful people

Our guide Walker was just great with lots of info about the sea lions and the boats. We didn’t realize we were going to be paddling inside a marina which made for easy paddling. But just different than we thought the photo depicted. Looking now it does look like a dock

What an awesome tour of Malibu! Our guide, Alexy, was great! He took us to very beautiful and iconic spots. The wine tasting at Rosenthal’s was a nice experience complete with music, and cool ambiance. Being in the 1972 Volkswagen van, we were a tourist attraction ourselves. What a fun trip. Highly recommended!

What an amazing way to discover Malibu! The VW van looks fantastic and has it’s unique character. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us beautiful places along the way. The wine tasting room was nice and cozy, I liked the outside installations, really cool for pictures. Outstanding views and unbeatable hospitality. Definitely recommend this one in a lifetime experience!

What an incredible way to discover Malibu! I have never been there before and now I feel like I saw its best parts. The guide was very attentive and went above and beyond to give us the time of our life. I enjoyed the cute wine tasting place with its hip ambiance. And of course the van was super cool. Overall fantastic tour, the best I’ve done in LA so far.

These guys are the best! I had multiple lessons with Fun Surf LA – both group and private, and they are always hands on. Very knowledgeable and professional. I improved my skills a lot and plan to continue. The last time we took a group lesson with our fitness team and everyone had a blast. Can’t wait to repeat. Thank you for everything, you’re AMAZING!!!

Valentin, Laura and Jonathan are the best! So much fun! Our five kids had a blast. They made all the instructions super simple and we were all up and surfing within about 30 minutes. Can’t wait to keep getting better for the rest of our time here. Totally recommend this place. Valentin was our main instructor. Ask for any of these three when you reserve!

It was awesome! Our first experience with surfing left me with desire to do it again. The only thing I regret that I booked 1.5 and not 2 hours. Thanks to our coach Valentin for his charm and constant attention.

“Wanting to give my 17-year-old nephew, Zachary, a vacation he would never forget, I reserved a 2-hour surfing lesson with FunSurfLA. The instructor was Jacob from Lithuania. He did a great job of introducing Zachary to the mechanics of surfing and actually got Zack up on the board. A few days later, we rented a wetsuit and surfboard from FunSurfLA so that Zachary could get some practice on his own. And finally, on the last day of our week-long stay near Venice Beach, we got a second 2-hour lesson. Valentine, from Argentina, was the instructor and he did a great job of giving Zachary tips and encouragement. It was exciting for Zachary to actually surf and it was exciting for me to see him getting up on the board several times and experiencing the excitement of actually having the water pushing him to shore… and to the sandy beach. As I was taking a video of Zachary on his last “ride,” it was cool to see Valentine running through the water…. getting to Zachary to give him a High-Five while he was still on the board… still coming in to where I was watching. The instructors really know how to get their students excited about the adventure. If I was 50 years younger, I would want to spend a week with these instructors at FunSurfLA to experience something that I only know about from the Beach Boys “Catch a Wave and You’re Sitting on Top of the World!” They definitely gave my nephew an experience he will never forget.
